Orbi CBR750 - no light / power at all

Question

Orbi CBR750 has no light / power at all... we had a thunderstorm that morning, system was connected to a power strip.

We checked the breaker, it was tripped so we reset that. Tried taking the router and power adapter to another working socket but it still won't turn on. No light at all. Haven't tried manually resetting yet, I will when I come back home after work but I don't think that will help at all since there is no signs of life within it at all.

Pretty sure it went kaput... does Netgear repair these kinds of damages or is it even repairable at all? Or is it a matter of changing the power adapter? Or do I need to purchase a new wifi / router system? IDK...

I would try another power adapter to see if maybe the one you have was taken out by the storm. Often when this happens during storms, the power adapters are first to go.&nbsp;

If you have a power diagnostic meter you can test the tip of your power adapter while plugged in to see if you see any volts at the tip.

Good morning! I've purchased a power supply from Amazon but found out that it had the wrong port connector -male, we needed the female. It had the same output 19V 3.16A. So I am returning this later on.&nbsp;Opting to find one in BestBuy in-store for accuracy and assistance from the employees. If not available, I'll search again in Amazon with looking closely at the correct description.&nbsp;Thank you for asking! I will let you know when there's another update.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
