Thanks for your help and suggestions. I tried a number of those suggestions. In the end, what became clear over time that the problem (losing the Internet connection even though the unit's LEDs showed that everything was okay) only occurred during Zoom video calls and then only while speaking during the Zoom video call (just listening even for several hours never was a problem).
After disabling SIP ALG the problem did not occur anymore (at least I have not experienced it anymore and it has been a week now). All other settings remained at their defaults.
