Orbi RBK852 - Connection Problem - Violet/Orange glow

Hi i also posted in the german forum, but maybe i get my help here faster.

 

Since around 6-9 months i have problems with my Satellite.

 

I also tried placing the router in the same room with the sat, but cannot manage to get the blue MeSh glowing.

 

Only violett, sometimes it blinks orange.

 

The connection the router establishes is always only over 2,4Ghz with the Sat.

 

I installed the newest firmware on Router and Satellite, did a hard reset on both but nothing helps.

 

is it possible, that the Mesh/5Ghz modul of the Satellite is simply broken?

 

PS: one thing i did not try was switching the channels of the 5ghz network, but i cannot imagine, that this such a problem when the router and satellite are 3m appart in the same room.

    What Firmware version is currently loaded?

    Be sure the RBR and ALL RBS are using same version of FW. 


    What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?

     

    Try removing the disconnected RBS from the RBR if seen on the RBS web page. Then factory reset the RBS by pressing the reset button for 15 seconds then release. Then when the front LED is pulsating WHITE, press the sync button on the RBS then on the RBR. See if this will get the RBS to fully sync. 

     

    If this doesn't work, try connecting the RBS to the back of the RBR using a ethernet cable and see if you can access the RBS web page in a browser.
