orbi RBK852 - update firmware to include "Smart Parent controls"

I've just purchased a new orbi RBK852. I've noticed there is a new release of firmware online.
My orbi has completed the firmware update and is running V3.2.18.1_1.4.14
The latest firmware version on the web is version version V4.6.3.9 which includes "Smart Parent controls"
The "online update" on the Orbi says there is "no new firmware available".
Is there a reason it won't automatically update and is it safe to do a manual update?

I recommend avoiding updating FW to v4 as we are seeing some issues with v4 FW:
You can update if you wish to however know this that you can't seemlessly revert back to v3 FWs after updating to v4 with out incurring a hassle of processes. It can be done though. NG doesn't officially support downgrading back to v3 after v4 has been applied.
Hi FURRYe38 pleasae tell me how I can defer back to my previous fireware.
I update the firmware to V4.6.3.6 and having all sorts of issues with both Wifi and ethernet connections on radom devices.
My phone does not connect but the Orbi app shows it's connected.
Pease help me get back to my previous fireware.
I have downloaded the previous one and tried to manual do it, but when it asks for me to confirm, there is no YES option only NO.
