Orbi Rbk852 No Gig Internet 😢
I have Spectrum Gig with 40 mbps upload. I cannot get the Orbi system to hit more than 100mbps since upgrading. When I was on the Spectrum 300 plan, speeds were good. I just got a new modem from Spectrum and if I direct connect (bypass the router & satellite) I can get the Gig Internet.
The wiring is all CAT-8 and CAT-7 cables. Also have the latest firmware on the router and satellite. The modem is plugged into the yellow 2.5 port on the router.
The Rbk852 just reached 5 years old.
Is there a possible fix or am 6 looking at a new mesh system?

**Solved**. It was actually a bum CAT-8 cable between the modem & router ðŸ˜. Once I replaced that cable, I was back in business. Thank you for the reply!

Would it be convenient to check the Orbi web interface, Advanced Home Page, and select "Show Statistics".
What speed is displayed for the WAN Port?
**Solved**. It was actually a bum CAT-8 cable between the modem & router ðŸ˜. Once I replaced that cable, I was back in business. Thank you for the reply!
I didn't check the WAN port, but it was always less than 100
