Orbi RBKE 963 CONNECTING TO WIFI CONTROLLED PRODUCTS

So decided to ditch my Tp Link deco WiFi system and upgrade to the rbke 963 WiFi 6 system hoping i would get better coverage with my homes WiFi, And i,m really struggling to connect my usual WiFi controlled devices, Cameras, air con units, pool pumps etc, it all started pretty well and my first 2 devices controlled by EWE link connected pretty much instantly and then i for the life of me cannot get any thing else to connect, i go through the motions and then every time the devices cannot find the Orbi WiFi or if they can they wont connect, i,m not the best at all this tech stuff but i am aware that the cameras/WiFi switches etc use 2.4 hz and the RBKE has this as the dedicated 2.4 IOT channel but do and how do i dedicate my devices to this channel only if this is my issue, Please someone help its driving me nuts …

  • Did you happen to configure the same SSID name and password used on the prior system on the Orbi system?

    You can do this.

What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and 📡 satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR📡 and RBS🛰️ to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.

You may need a PC or laptop and web browser to sign on to the RBRs WEB UI page and enabled the separate IoT SSID Network seen under the Basic Tab/Wireless settings page.

What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6A STP  is recommended
