Orbi RBR 750 Wired Satellite Dropping Connection

Hello, 

 

I'm currently using an ORBI Mesh network RBR 750 with latest software version V4.6.3.7_2.0.49

 

Setup is as follows - Modem is wired into Orbi 1. Orbi 1 is wired into Orbi 2. 

 

Recently, Orbi 2 is dropping connection multiple times a day and can take a few minutes to reconnect. 

 

Orbi 1 is having no connection issues. 

 

I've tried restarting everything to no avail. What can I try next?

  • One reason can be if you have double DHCP servers.
    What is the make and model of your modem?
    Is your Orbi Router (Orbi 1) set in Router or AP mode?
  • Netgear has set up a community forum specifically for the Orbi AX (WiFi 6) products. Most of the people who watch that forum are more likely to have experience with Orbi AX and know how to work it better than those of us who follow this "general Orbi" forum.       Hi,

       

      I tried factory resetting everything and unfortunatly I'm still getting multiple drops per day.

        Have you seen v16 FW appear on your RBR? NG is starting to push new FW out.
