ORBI RBR750 - Satellite will not connect
I've been stuck on this for a while, scoured the web for anything, and tried them all. I purchase the ORBI system back in June of 2024. When I got them I set up the router and connected the satelli...

I tried going to the Orbi web and when I log in it lands me on a page Router Password Reset. I entered the serial number of the router (which is set up and functional) but it then told me the Device is disabled try in 1 minute
The router accepted "admin" and the password that had been defined previously (not "password"), but then went immediately to the Password Reset page? Wow. That is unreal.

every time the satellite boots it shows the blue bar solid for 3 minutes. This is even after doing the factory reset. This is why I don't believe the light or anything this setup provides.
Not being able to log into the router prevents looking at the Attached Devices page. Another potential experiment might be to locate a WiFi device very close to the satellite and see if it can connect. Then look at the WiFi settings on the device and see how it describes the signal strength and Link Rate of the connection. If it is connected to the satellite, then the signal level and link rate should be high.

I had a thought based on the feedback. Since I can't get into the satellite, I logged into the router (finally got past the reset password part), and thought I'd return to the previous firmware version. This way, if I guess right, maybe the satellite's firmware will match and I can get things going again. I did notice that auto firmware updates were enabled so I'm guessing the router updated while the satellite was powered off after my initial setup.
Now that I've attempted to do the router firmware downgrade I'm stuck again. After uploading the bundle, the message says fail and to check the log. The log is blank so not sure what's going on.
Any good resources on how to downgrade the firmware?

I use this PDF process for upgrading and downgrading: https://community.netgear.com/t5/Orbi-WIFI-6-AX-AND-Wi-Fi-6E-AXE/Procedure-for-Factory-reset-of-RBS850/m-p/2359585/highlight/true#M53030
Ethernet connected PC.
MS Edge or Firefox browser
Be sure your unpacking the FW file from the .zip file. Don't attempt to use the .chk file. Just navigate to the .chk file in the RBRs FW WEB UI and select it there and the browser will send it to the RBR.

Still no luck but here are some more details with steps tried.
1. I downgraded the router to 6.14.3 which date-wise was 12/2022 so I thought that would be old enough. That still didn't get them to connect
2. I downgraded further to 6.11.1 which was 10/2022 and still no connection.
3. Have the router and satellite next to each other on the same desk. Booting the satellite always comes up blue but the web shows no satellite
4. I used the web to add a satellite. The route starts blinking, but the web always reports, "Satellite setup failed." I don't see any other details, and the log log doesn't show anything.
Does anyone have any other things to try? I'm willing to try anything.
Thanks for all the help so far.

Now I can’t tell you what happen or how it fixed but randomly tonight I checked the app and it asked to upgrade the firmware. This surprised me but now I have a working satellite. I did upgrade the firmware and everything is now working.
If I had to guess what fixed it I believe it was downgrading the firmware and a factory reset of the satellite. That was the last two things I did.
Thanks again for all the support.
