Orbi Router RBR350 unable to connect to internet during setup
I've purchased an orbi router RBR350 including an orbi satellite RBS350. I have tried to install using both the app and direct connect but it is unable to establish an internet connection with the modem during setup. My modem is an Arris CM8200.
I have followed all of the trouble shooting advice that I can find. This includes unplugging everything and restarting in the recommended order. Both the orbi and the Arris modem have reset buttons that you stick a pin in to reset and I've done this. My existing modem (that I want to replace) is an tp-link Archer VR1600 v2 which works perfectly well using the same cables.
I've run out of ideas and any advice or suggestions would be most welcome.

You don't have anything else connected to the cm8200? I know it has more than 1 ethernet port but most ISP's only allow 1 public ip address. So make sure only 1 device is connected to it.
Try this.
Unplug everything from the arris. Including its coax. Then power it off for up to 10 minutes.
Have everything unplugged from the router as well and it powered off at the same time.
then connect the coax back to the modem and power it on. Wait 2 minutes.
Then plug in port 1 on the cm8200 to the wan port on the orbi.
Power the orbi on. Attempt setup.
