Orbi router RBR850 does not accept 2.4 connections only satellite
Hello,
I have a RBR850 router (3nd floor in a townhome) and one satellite (RBS850) in the 1st floor. I notice that 2.4 devices only connect to the satellite, regardless the distance including those devices pretty much next to the router, and 5 ghz devices only connect to the router.
This generally was not a problem however some weeks back I had issue with the outlet where satellite connects and all 2.4 devices were unreachable they never switched to the router. That day I rebooted the router (while the satellite was off) but no luck 2.4 devices were not able to connect. Once the Satellite was connected back it's that again 2.4 devices connected to the network. I decided to make a test today again I noticed that all 2.4 were connected to satellite and 5 ghz devices to the router. I rebooted both devices, left the satellite disconnected for a while, to see if 2.4 clients would connect and no luck. For some reason it looks like the router won't accept 2.4 connections. Any thoughts ?. Thank you

During this time, were any of the WiFi devices powered off and back on again?

Hi,
I only tried rebooting a couple of devices (iDevice AC switches) and remained "alarmed".
