Orbi Wi-Fi 6 problems with Hue Sync Box
I have ongoing problems using Hue Sync Box since I have installed Orbi Wi-Fi 6 router. The sync box struggles to connect to the network and I have to factory reset it all the times. Despite the box is connected to the same network of the Hue Bridge, the app keeps showing the same error stating that sync box must be in the same network of the hue bridge. I connect them, but the connection lasts less than 1 second before the error is shown again. I have factory reset the box and reset my network settings but the issues persis. It looks like the router blocks the connection between the town devices for some reasons. Initially, I thought this was due to Armor but after I have deactivated Armor the issue is still there.
My configuration is RBK850 with two satellites. All updated to firmware 4.6.3.16.
Philips Hue Bridge connected via Ethernet to the router (firmware 1.49.1949203030)
Philips Hue Sync Box connected wireless (firmware 1.8.3)
Any idea how to fix this?

What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and 📡 satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR and RBS📡 to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.
https://kb.netgear.com/31029/Where-should-I-place-my-Orbi-satellite 📡What channels are you using? Auto? Try Auto and 48 on 5Ghz. Or try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and 40 to 48 channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?Try disabling AX mode on 2.4Ghz under Basic Tab/Wireless settings.
Set 20/40Mhz Coexistence to 40Mhz only. Set CTS to 2347. Set Short preamble instead of Long preamble modes. Save settings and reboot the router and satellite(s). Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings

Thanks for your reply but, unfortunately, none of the steps suggested made any difference.
Satellites are correctly positioned and work fine with all the devices, except this one.
Disabling AX on 2.4Ghz does nothing. As well as removing the coexistence between 20/40Mhz. Preamble and CTS cannot be changed. They are not selectable from the router web interface.
Armor detected the box as an attack as soon as it was re-enabled. Disabling Armor did nothing. The hub is connected via Ethernet to the main router (it can only be connected that way) and the box via wifi on the same router (the box does not support Ethernet).
One quick check to see if this wifi device sees and connects at all, disable WPA on the RBR. Turn OFF the RBS for now. See if the device will connect. Re-enable WPA2 and AES after testing.
I'd contact the mfr of this device to get additional help and information regarding there product.
- daveyjonesAspirantTurn off your security. Zero security. It will sync. Disappointing, right? It works. I have the same connection issues that you do. I turn it off when I want to watch a movie. I let all the other nonessential smart items for my house (security cams, and doorbell sync to the guest Wi-Fi. It’s actually the reason I created the guest Wi-Fi, I made a new SSID, connected all the smart things to it, and then made the guest networks be the same SSID and password, then started a new SSID with WPS3 and a real password for the things I wanted to keep secure.

How do you turn security off?
