Orbi6 Intermittent Performance Degradation
I've had an Orbi 6 system (router + 2 satellites) for almost 2 years now. Worked like a charm until about 2 months ago. Since then at times, I can see painfully slow connectivity on my laptop, connec...

Has a power off for 1 minute then back ON with the ISP modem and router been performed since last update?
Be sure to restart your network in this sequence:
Turn off and unplug modem.
Turn off router and computers.
Plug in and turn on modem. Wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on the router and wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on computers and rest of network.
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6A STP is recommended.
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and 📡 satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR📡 and RBS🛰️ to begin with depending upon building materials when wired or wirelessly connected.

Does this happen with the RBS turned OFF?
Does this happen with both wireless and wired devices?
What channel configurations are currently set on the router?
Be sure to disable any MAC Address randomizers on phones and pads while at home:

Try disabling the following and see:
Armor, Smart Parental Controls or Circle, Traffic Meter.
You behind on FW as well:

NG Router is connected to a Verizon branded modem. I've disabled wifi on the VZ gear, so I'll have to login later via a cable to figure out other details, not many markings on the box itself.
I should note that my wife is on the wifi (connected to the RBR) and sees no issues whatsoever.
I just did a factory reset on the RBS near me and have now attached it back to the network. Still experiencing network issues. My morning zooms really sucked and Cloudflare speed test is giving me a Poor rating for Video chatting.

Does the wife's PC or devices get same rating for video test quality?
is SIP ALG enabled or disabled under Advanced tab/Setup/WAN setup?
Where you able to get the system FW updated yet?
I put this up for details on how to manual update FW on Orbi systems:

Does the wife's PC or devices get same rating for video test quality? <- I'm getting Average/Average/Poor for Video Streaming/Gaming/Chatting on Cloudflare's speed test. She's getting Great/Great/Great. My latency and jitter are off by 2 orders of magnitude relative to hers. To be clear, she's using wireless too, just connected to the RBR.
is SIP ALG enabled or disabled under Advanced tab/Setup/WAN setup? <- Enabled ie. I haven't checked the 'Disable' box. This is default.
Where you able to get the system FW updated yet? <- Yes, all on V7.2.6.21_5.0.20

Ok. What is the distance between the RBR and the RBS your connecting too?
What channels is the RBR currently using for the radios?
Something to try, turn OFF the RBS near you and let your devices connect to the RBR.
Is the power level on the RBR at 100% under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings
Not seen on Orbi AX.

Can you take a picture of this Verizon modem and also see if there is any stickers on the side or under this modem that may have a product model #?
If this modem has wifi, then it most likely has a built in router as well. This would be a double NAT (two router) condition which isn't recommended. https://kb.netgear.com/30186/What-is-Double-NAT
https://kb.netgear.com/30187/How-to-fix-issues-with-Double-NAT
Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the Orbi router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.
3. Or disable all wifi radios on the modem and connect the Orbi router to the modem, configure AP mode on the Orbi router. https://kb.netgear.com/31218/How-do-I-configure-my-Orbi-router-to-act-as-an-access-point and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7LOcJ8GdDo&app=desktop
Try option #2 first...

Okay, I've disabled all radio from the VZ device. I had the wifi off on all frequencies already ... have now gone into radio management.
I'm trying to fix the double-NAT but it's not totally obvious how to get this thing into a bridge mode of some kind. The OEM is well hidden and the only model identifier I'm seeing is CR1000A. User guide is here

Something to contact the ISP about or the Mfr of this ISP hardware.
If the modem can't be briged, the DMZ or IP pass though would be next item to try for the RBR.
