Outdoor wifi access point needed compatible with existing indoor RBR750
I currently have the Orbi 750 (I believe it's the RBR750) wifi 6 system with 1 router and 2 satellites throughout my house. It works pretty well but we need to get a stronger signal in our backyard ...
I have many windows in the back of my house that I could setup an extender but would prefer to connect to an outdoor AP to make sure the signal is strong out there. Probably need to extend 100-150 feet at most from the house to cover most of the entertaining area and pool. Could I simply connect the WAX610Y to one of my existing satellites (not the router) and run to the AP outdoors? Getting the cable out there could be a challenge but I'm already having a contractor punch out some audio cables for our future sound system so could run it that way.
Ya that should work, Ethernet from closest RBS out to the WAX AP. If your going to run LAN cable, recommend CAT6A STP at least.
