Practical differences between AX4200 and AX6000? (Considering upgrade from AC3000)

Do you find the AX gear to be as stable and reliable as the AC3000 is now? I am a bit reluctant to upgrade since it took many weeks of tinkering work, forum questions and joining beta firmware programs to get my AC setup functioning satisfactorily.
unfortuneatelt, no, it was not as stable as the Orbi AC when AX first same out and has been a bit of a roller coaster ride since. Only has of last has Orbi AX seem to mature much more. I and others are seeing a few other problems which we are helping NG out with, NEST controllers. People are waiting on NG to release Circle for Orbi AX. I don't use Circle or Armor and have seen many issues with that on Orbi AC. I test when needed.
NG finally fixed the NAT filter bug I found, took about a year to fix it. I think there is changing in AX wifi systems that still need tuning as this seems to be causing odd issues and since NG has changed CTS from long used of 2347 to now 64, been told this is the new norm for Orbi AX and is recommended to use this. Again, tuning seems to be in progress. I'm see odd wifi signal problems on my mac book only in the living room and if I have 2 RBS online. If I turn 1 OFF, this doesn't happen or does it happen with Orbi AC with two RBS running.
So far aside the NEST controller issues and some odd wifi over lap issue, Orbi AX has been stable for me. Now I can fully run two xbox game consoles online at the same time while getting OPEN NAT. :smileywink:
Wired speeds are great espeicially with a 2.5Gb supporting CM modem on a 1Gb service.
Wow, thanks for the write-up! It sounds like this is a headache I do not need, even though I do not have any NEST components. Luckily I managed to revive my bricked AC, so hopefully I can sit AX out a few more revisions.
