Problem connecting and accessing RBS850
Hi,
I have problem connecting rbs850 with rbr850 router. I moved the system to another location and at the same time reset the all the devices. During the initiliazation and setup process, I pressed the firmware update button, I don't know what firmware I had before (4.???) , but now the system updated the RBR850 firmware to 7.2.6.31. The problem is that after this I can no longer connect to the RBS850 satellite. I also have an RBS750 that I updated succesfully later to the same 7.2.6.31 version. I have tried to access the RBS850 by resetting the device and doing a 30/30/30 reset. I see that the RBS850 creates an ORBI27 wifi network, but I can't log into it (the password is found on the bottom of the device). After startup RBS850 blinks white for a while and then turns to continuous white light. I can see ORBI27 wifi (the one for working RBR850 and RBS750 network has different name) for a while then it disappears, but I was never able to connect to that network. I have also tried the following instructions:
So basically I have turned off RBR850 and then connected the computer (windows11 laptop) via ethernet cable to RBS850 and turned that on (after reset). I also have turned wifi off on my laptop. The problem is that I can't find RBS850 anywhere. Could there be another default ip address than 192.168.10.250 or 192.168.1.250 where satellite could be found or another subnet? Is there anyway to see what ip addresses are connected to network? I have tried pinging the addresses and of course accessing via web browser (chrome, firefox, edge) without results. Also I have cleared out browser cache. I have set up static ip address to my computer 192.168.1.234 and subnet 255.255.255.0. One thing I started to wonder was that could there be a problem with ethernet ports of RBS850 because there are no lights blinking on laptop ethernet port as they usually do when computer is connected to network.
Any help much appreciated.

Hi again,
I just noticed the instructions to connect to router via telnet (tfpd64) and update the firmware through that.
However, the instructions are for a router and not a satellite, is it possible to update the satellite this way? Still the same problem as originally though, I don't know which IP address to put in order to connect to the satellite...
Try 192.168.10.250 and see?
Does the RBS not get any IP address from the RBR if you ethernet connect it directly to the back of the RBR?
If you factory reset the RBS and leave it for 5 minutes, connect up one wired PC to the back of the RBS, set a static IP address configuration the wired PC for 192.168.10.49, can you access the RBS web page at all at 192.168.10.250 in a browser?

Hi,
Thank you for the quick reply!
Sorry it took me a while to have time to test it again. But the results are unfortunately still the same I cannot access the RBS850. I again factory resetted the RBS850 and then setup static ip for my laptop and after over 5min (RBS850 had constant white light) tried to access it with address 192.168.10.250 (also 192.168.1.250) without any luck. Then I tried to wire it directly to RBR850 and that didn't either do trick RBR850 cannot see anything but the other working sattlite (RBS750). I don't know why but after connecting it directly ro RBR850 one thing was different the RBS850 had constant blue light on it, but I still wasn't able too see it anywhere in Orbi router attached devices list.
Have you got any other suggestions or is the satellite bricked?
