RBK 852 White Blinking Light
First, I'm an IT pro, 20+ yrs experience. I have tried ALL available troubleshooting steps, including powercycling the router & satellite, and factory resetting the unit with the pinhole until the light was blinking amber.
Bottom line: I have a very expensive BRICK of a router that's less than a year old. Last Netgear product I plan to own. Unbelievable because it was probably caused by the latest firmware update itself.

If its under a year old, it should be under warranty. You can contact support.
Or you can try recovering it.
You can try recovering it with tftp or nmrpflash.
are you on windows? if so, follow this guide
https://kb.netgear.com/000059634/How-to-upload-firmware-to-a-NETGEAR-router-using-Windows-TFTP
just make sure you enable tftp
https://www.thewindowsclub.com/enable-tftp-windows-10
and here's a video walk through using a tftp client. Use the built in one for windows 10 though. the video is more of an example of how its done.

and if that doesn't work, you can try using nmrpflash

Appreciate the response. Tried both solutions. TFTP wasn't able to establish a connection.
NMRP said "No response after 60 seconds. Bailing out".
Leads me to believe the switch component isn't functioning at all...might explain the flashing white light if it didn't recognize the link from the modem.
If its under a year old, you can start the rma process. It should still be within warranty.
and I know its a stupid question but I've seen people try the tftp/nmrpflash using the wan port. It needs to be a lan port.
Has a 30-30-30 reset process been performed? One user recently did this and go his RBS working again.

Not familiar with 30-30-30 reset process...willing to try.
I can't RMA - apparently I only had a 90 day warranty. Maybe I bought a refurb from Netgear? I don't recall that but it's certainly possible.
