RBK763 Satellite Wrongly Shows Disconnected
Hello!
I have an RBK763 system, one router plus two satellites. For some reason, One of the satellite's says it is disconnected, when it is certainly not. Another issue I noticed is there's a mix up with the mac addresses on connected devices. Sounds weird but let me show you what I mean:
As you can see, one satellite says the backhaul status is good, the other says it's disconnected. I have computers connected via ethernet to both (wi-fi turned off), and both are able to access the internet no problem, which tells me both satellites are indeed working/connected even though the status for one shows disconnected.
The other strange thing is the devices that I'm using to test show they are connected to the same satellite, even though one device is in my basement, the other upstairs, and certainly connected to different satellites:
The first device (43) is connected via ethernet to the satellite with the mac address that ends with 2E, so that is correct. The other device (45) is actually connected via ethernet to the other satellite that ends with F2, but as you see in the first screenshot, that satellite says it's disconnected. So for some reason device 45 says it is connected to the other satellite that ends with 2E, but that is inaccurate.
Has anyone had this issue? Any ideas? I've tried previously resetting and re-syncing the satellites, and both ended up showing connected, but the inaccurate mac address issue was still there. Now one is showing disconnected again even though it is certainly connected.
The firmware for the router is V6.3.8.5_1.4.80, and the satellites V6.3.8.5.
Thank you

What happens if you swap RBS around with each other, problem follows or remains at the one remote location?
Bring the one RBS that reports disconnected to same room as RBR and ethernet connected it behind the RBR.
Is this seen as well in Orbi app?
How are the RBS ethernet connected? Behind the RBR or is there a LAN switch in between the RBR and RBS?
What CAT# lan cable are you using? CAT6 is recommended.
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router 📡 and satellite(s)🛰️? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR 📡 and RBS 🛰️ to begin with depending upon building materials when wired or wirelessly connected.

Swapping them seems to have resolved it for now.
To answer your other questions, the satellites were connected with wireless backhaul, house is 3000 sqft, not sure the exact distance between each device but considering they are on different floors I would think there's enough distance and physical material between them.
Ok, see if it happens again.
Distances is important, along with placement and building materials. I'd get a better idea of distance if you can. 30 feet is starting distances between the units.
