RBKE963 - using only one of two satellites
I am considering purchasing RBKE963 with router and two satellites as it is on sale. My house is 3000 sq ft so I only need the router and one satellite in my current set up. I have an exterior building that will be completed next year and I plan to put the second satellite in this building when completed
To set up the mesh system in my current home, is it ok to install and use only the router and one satellite until I have the opportunity to add the second satellite at a later date? I have no need right now for the second satellite until the outbuilding is completed
Thank you

Yes, you can use only one RBS for your needs.
However I would recommend that for any FW updates for the system, that you bring the 2nd RBS and put it online and update both RBS first, then the RBR lastly to what ever FW version maybe available. Then you can put the 2nd RBS away.
Can use the 2nd RBS in a wired configuration out to the remote location as a suggestion:

Thank you for the feedback and making me think about keeping the firmware in sync
Have a great day
Good Luck.
Also FYI, I recommend if you do get the 960 series, use FW v.21 on the system. It's the most stable version.
Enjoy.
