RBR 850/RBS 850 Higher ping on Wifi

Question

All of a sudden over the last few days my ping is showing mostly 8 ms on my iPhone 11 Pro Max. Was showing 6 then over time 7 and now 8. I haven’t changed anything. What could be causing this and is there simple fix that even tech dumb idiots like me could do?Thanks in advance.

I think my issue is that I had too many satellites too close together. I spread them apart from each other, and it seems to have solved my problem completely. I haven't had any issues with my devices randomly dropping their WiFi signal.I also ended up hardwiring a few of the satellites, which may have also helped.

What is the iPhone pinging?&nbsp; (the Orbi router?&nbsp; Some other device on the LAN?)
WiFi connections are affected by the number of WiFi devices and access points using the same channel, and what they are doing at the time.

Ping is mostly 8 ms. By the way… my Orbi is not staying connected. This is new. Never seen this before. I did a power cycle earlier to try to fix the ping. Once it connected back up all was fine but tonight now it keeps disconnecting. Any ideas?

I think my Orbi may be shot. It keeps going offline.
