RBR placement

Our apartment has RJ45 ports in 4 rooms, but they terminate in the Master bedroom closet, where the Optical Network Terminal is located. I wish the design was diffrent but it what I have to work with unfourthently.

Currently, I have it set up where one of the ports is active and connected to the router in a small office area, and the other three ports are not active. The performance is okay, but I would like to be able to use the other ports for backhauling and for direct conntions.

My question is; Is it wise to put an Orbi RBR 750 in a mostly enclosed space and backhaul the two satellites using the RJ45 ports?

Probably.

Distance between a wifi router and other devices should be 3-6 feet.

Maybe not idea however can work if you can connect the remote lan ports in these rooms to the back of the RBR:

    Ideal. Recommended locations for the main RBR unit is out in a room that's well ventilated so signal travels well and has good coverage for devices that need to connect to the RBR, not just the RBS.
