RBR750 - I have an original Starlink satilite & router - need to Disable DNS on the Orbi

RBR750 Router Firmware  V3.2.16.22

Currently I have the Starlink Satellite connected directly to the Orbi Router and everything works fine   I would like to connect use the Starlink Router and than connect it to the Orbi with the 2 Orbi satellite to cover the whole house.

The reason I want to add the Starlink router is to be able to control/monitor the Starlink Satellite Dish --- like turn off the heater when we don't have snow but the temp is below 30.

I know I need to turn off the Obri DNS Services and let the Starlink router handle that.

My question is How to turn of DNS  on the Orbi and what other configuration changes do I need to make?

Thanks for the help. Cliff

IF this is all StarLink related then you'll need to make contact with StarLinks support and information regarding there product. This forum is for NETGEAR Orbi MESH systems.

Why not just connect the orbi to the starlink with the orbi in access point mode?

That'd leave the starlink in control with the orbi managing its own satellites

Thanks for the suggestion --- did not know I could do that.  It looks like this is the directions

        T
        1. Connect the LAN port of your existing modem or gateway to the Internet port of your Orbi router with an Ethernet cable.
        2. Launch a web browser from a computer or mobile device that is connected to your Orbi network.
        3. Enter orbilogin.com or orbilogin.net. A login popup displays.
        4. Enter your admin user name and password.
        5. Select the ADVANCED tab.
        6. Select Advanced > Router / AP Mode.

Thanks I will give it a try
