RBR750 cannot connect to my work Windows VPN with the Orbi router
I updated my router system to Orbi and am having trouble connecting to my work Windows VPN using an LT2P/IPSec with Pre Shared Key. I spent about 3 months early on trying to get it to work and all of a sudden one day it started working on its own (after many many attempts to fix the problem). About 10-14 days ago my connection stopped working again (below is the screen print of the error message).
If I disconnect my phone from my home WiFi and connect my computer to my phone hotspot, I can connect just fine to my work VPN. I have tried multiple things according to articles that I had found, including changing the LAN setup to use IP address 192.168.2.1 (just in case my work server is using the same overlapping IP addresses). I also added an IP address reservation for my work computer. I do not have Armor Security installed on my system and do not have any other security applications installed on my computer and/or router. As I mentioned before, I have read many articles with mixed reviews but still have not found anything to fix my problem. Also, just for good measure I updated my router and satellites to the most recent firmware version with no change. There are several people at work that are using this work VPN so it is not a problem with the setup or the server - this is definitely a problem with the Orbi router. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

What modem/gateway is the orbi connected to?
have you checked with your IT department to see if there's a specific port that needs to be forwarded for your vpn?

We have fiber optic (though Cinergymetro) and the only hardware I could find was a fiber optic port (Intertek G-010G-A) that is plugged up to our fiber optic line and that is plugged up directly to the Orbi router.

No specific port needed for my VPN that I am aware of. I did not initially setup a specific port and nothing like that has changed to my knowledge.

Does this VPN package produce a log file in addition to the pop up window? Sometimes there is more detail in an actual log file. And sometimes there are settings to increase the level of detail in the log file.
In the VPN configuration file, is the company VPN server identified by IP address or by a URL?
(I know this sounds crazy, but there have been complaints about DNS processing for some time on the 750 product. It would useful to eliminate that as an issue in this case by verifying that the VPN connection is trying to go to the correct public IP address.)
