RBR750 speed cut in half with BGW320
I have searched the forum looking for a possible answer and have not found any good hits yet. I have my RBR750 directly connected to a BGW320-500 with cat6 and my download speed seems to get cut in h...
It would be helpful to know the speed reported by the Orbi router. either
- By logging into the router web interface, navigating to the Advanced Tab, Setup Menu and selecting Speed Test, or
- By selecting the Speed Test feature on the Orbi 'app'. The app reports a Speed Test run on the router, not on the smartphone running the app.
An Ookla Speed Test run on a device with 802.11ax, 2x2 MIMO from very close to the WiFi access point (not even one wall) should exceed 500Mbps (the Orbi 750 has an 80MHz channel):
At 40 ft. distance, with a couple of walls in the way, then performance will be under 500Mbps.
