Thank you for letting us know.
You may need to find an alternative for your needs.
Good Luck.

Going for an alternative indeed: just ordered a Firewalla purple SE to get the SPC functionality I need (+much more I guess...) And will use the Netgear devices as Access Point only.
Let's see how that works out!

That should work well. Let us know how it turns out.

The Firewalla is doing great so far, as is the app that goes with it. Great SPC functionality!
But the ORBI still has the ‘loss of configuration on reboot’ issue, even when 'only' configured as AP.
About 1 out of 2 reboots result in loss of configuration with exception of the wireless network settings. Either by power cycle or reboot from the web interface, no different…. I have ditched the ORBI app for now, just using the web interface which is much quicker and less cumbersome than the app.
I had a 2nd RBR760 lying around, so I decided to see if that has the same issue and it does.
I am considering opening another case, but my previous case has been very time-consuming and has not resulted in any useful outcome. So not sure if it’s worth the time and effort...
I do see more reports on this exact same loss of configuration issue, has anyone found a fix or workaround?
Cheers!

Do you have back up configuration files on hand to help you get the system back in to working states after the loss of the configuration?
After doing factory resets and setup from scratch, and not loading any backup configurations from file, is the problem still happening with the loss of configuration after reboots?
