RBR850 - add on satellite no longer available, how to add a previously used satellite
I have an RBR850 router with 2 satellites. I needed a third satellite, but am told this is an old model and not available anymore. So I bought a used add-on satellite, and reset it. But I can't se...
did you get it fixed?
might try hardwiring the satellite to the router and leave it for a bit. Then see if it syncs and if you can get in and access it so you can update it.

Is it because I am using a mac? Because the mac doesn't have an ethernet port, I have to use an adaptor,. When I go to settings and network, it will say the ethernet is not connected and changing the IP settings doesn't help. When I go to the USB/LAN connection and try to change the IP address there to 192.168.10.49, I can't access the internet from my mac anymore. Even if I ignore that and proceed to the next steps, when I try to navigate to 192.168.10.250, I get an error message (site is unreachable).
I tried to navigate to 192.168.10.250 using a pc, but that didn't work either.
I also tried to just hardwire the satellite to the router, but it still couldn't sync.
Any other ideas?
