RBR850 rebooting every 2 hours
So after my internet went out for 3 days due to damage to an outside cable my router was now rebooting on its own every 2-3 hours. This went on for a full week, every 2-3 hours it would reboot and internet would drop off for 2-3 minutes.
I tried everything I could find online, nothing would work. Finally I noticed the time was a few hours off and changed the time server from Netgear to Googles time server. After that everything has been working great. over 24 hours now with no reboots.

What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?- MikesTooLzAspirant
Orbi Router Firmware: V4.6.7.13
Modem: TG3482G
Time Server setting in Orbi Router was updated from default netgear time server to Googles Time Server and its gone a week without rebooting.
What mode is your modem in?
Your ISP Modem already has a built in router and wifi. This would be a double NAT (two router) condition which isn't recommended. https://kb.netgear.com/30186/What-is-Double-NAT

Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the Orbi router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.
3. Or disable all wifi radios on the modem and connect the Orbi router to the modem, configure AP mode on the Orbi router. https://kb.netgear.com/31218/How-do-I-configure-my-Orbi-router-to-act-as-an-access-point and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7LOcJ8GdDo&app=desktop
