RBR850 wired backhaul satellite connection partially working
I've just upgraded from a RBR750 to a RBR850 (in AP mode), and now have 2 satellites.
One (RBS850) on another floor of the building where my terrace is; with a wired connection that goes direct. This works fine.
For the 2nd satellite (RBS750) in a remote area of the apartment (needed due to the thick concrete walls) it passes through 2 x QNAP 2.5Gb switches - because I've got lots of other kit that needs to connect to the network; and don't really want to have to pass my PC connection through the RBS750 switch at 1Gb.
When the satellite is directly connected to the router - all is good. When I connect the satellite through either one or two of these switches; I seem to get connectivity from the satellite (devices in the area work, and failover when I turn it off); but the satellite never shows up as connected in the App or and is always missing from the devices list on the web interface.
It's as if the data connection is working, but there's a management signal that's not getting through the switches to the satellite.
Is there a fix to get it working through my switches?

If the RBS750 works directly connected to the back of the RBR850, then seems to not work right when connected thru your QNAP switches, would most likely be these particular branded switches causing problems. Thought this brand reports it as a unmanaged switch, possible some features that are included with in the switche, maybe causes problems or the switch is not allowing all data between the RBR and RBS to flow. Seen this before with other branded switches. Managed switches can also be a problem.
Also check for cabling in between this on remote location as well.
Swap the RBS850 into this one location to see if problem is seen with the RBS850.
Recommend a NG non managed switch from this model line: NG GS-105/108v4 and GS308v3
All models tested with both 750 and 850 series Orbi systems.
