RBRE960 - My IoT password is all of a sudden not working

I have over 60 devices connected to my IoT network and in the process of connecting a new device it wants me to be on the network that I want the device to communicate on.  When I attempt to enter the password it tells me its incorrect.  I know the password is correct.  I was able to get around this once by rebooting my phone and plugging the password in.

Then the next time I had to forget the network, enter in the SSID manually and then enter the password.

Now neither method works.  Anyone else experience this.  Rebooting the router is a pain in the ass and changing the password an even bigger pain in the ass as I have too many devices for that to  be a viable solution (I did it once before for something misconfigured).

Is there a setting thats causing this?  I have no special characters in the password.

  • What Firmware version is currently loaded?

Try changing the IoT password to something else. Apply the change. See if you can connect to it with a mobile device. If you can, then change it back to what you had been using. Apply the change. Use a PC and web browser to make this change on the RBRs web page.

Do you have the separate 6Ghz radio enabled?

    Hi A3ch ,

When I attempt to enter the password it tells me its incorrect => Can I know what's devices encounter the issue ?

Do you enable "2.4g only" or "5g only" or "2.4g and 5g" in IOT network ?

    Thanks.

  • Any progress on this?
