hmm i'm not sure what you mean by ethernet adapter? do you mean the fibre ONT? if so, it's an ONT 200:

the ONT connects to the RBR via that came with the orbi (i've tried other cables)

yeah, i've tried multiple macs, raspberry pi, appletvs, synology nas, etc.. all the same issue.

doesn't seem to matter - the screenshots i posted above are with curl, but it happens with all the ways i've tried.

i'm using brand new cat6 cables - i've tried a bunch over the past few months. i bought an ethernet cable tester and tested all of them.

And does same thing happen if you directly connect to the ISP ONT with same PC and run your tests there?
You might try downgrading FW to v.21 and test.
Also if you have a friend or family member that has a different ISP configuration, try the RBR at there place to see if the problem follows or not.

- malachi1Jul 16, 2025Guideoh interesting, can i connect a PC to the ONT via ethernet directly? (i.e. unplug the ONT->orbi cable on the orbi end, and connect it to a PC's ethernet).
