RBRE960B Just one Ethernet port acts weird
Hi there,
I've this system from Feb now. It works great. I've a Xbox Series X and a Playstation 5 attached to the main base.
Just one ethernet port seems to act strange.
Both with Ps5 and Xbox Series X it basically connects to the internet but the both PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live don't work. If I change the ethernet port they work. But that one doesn't...
What can I do?
THanks

Let me also add that the port acting strange is the 2.5 one. Worked perfectly till yesterday

For the 2.5Gb port to be used optimally, it's recommended to use the 1Gb ports for the game consoles as they are only 1Gb supporting. They would not get any benefit from using the 2.5Gb port. 2.5Gb port works on current and new FW. I have mine connected and running my RBSs.
Also be sure that when you do use the 2.5Gb LAN Ports on the RBR or RBS, it's recommended to use CAT6A STP cabling as higher speeds can be effected by noises from external sources where shielding isn't not present in UTP cabling. I use CAT6A STP cabling on the 2.5Gb port and lines out to the multi gig switches and out to the RBS.
You can only block FW updates on the newer version of FW.

7 months in nothing happened before the new firmware arrived.
I canât avoid using the 2.5Ghz because I need all of them.
The cables are ok.
the only way has been to use nextdns and block netgear update servers.

I got it.
The problem is the firmware.
I set the router back to the 6.0.3.85 and now it works.
Fact is I cannot block autoupdate đ and it updated to the new software overnight. Is there a way to block the autoupdate completely?
