RBS 353 satellite connection puzzle

I have RBS353 system. The satellite furthest away from the Base, shows connection at 5G whilst the nearer satellite shows 2.4G. Why the difference? I would expect the further one to show 2.4G distance wise.

    Might be an issues of something in the walls/area blocking signal. 5ghz doesn't penetrate materials as well as 2.4ghz. 

    Have you tried moving it around to see if it helps?

      Sure but the one furthest away, with more walls inbetweener, is giving 5G and the nearer one, with less walls, is giving 2.4G

        Certain things in the walls (think hvac/plumbing) are better at blocking signal than others. Its why its worth moving around or swapping the satellites to see what changes.
