What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6 is recommended.
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router 📡 and satellite(s)🛰️? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR 📡 and RBS 🛰️ to begin with depending upon building materials when wired or wirelessly connected.

thanks for the reply
The Firmware is v4.20.0.4_3.100.71 on the router and V4.20.0.4 on the Satellite.
The LAN CAble is a CAT 6, I am not sure about the ISP Modem, it's a company called Chorus here in New Zealand that provides the infrastructure.
However the Router does not lose connection to the ISP/Internet, it's only between the Satellite and the Router.
The house is about 1700 Sq Ft and the distance between the Satellite and Router in about 40 Ft.
I'll try a differnet placement of the router though, to increase the distance.
The 2.4Ghz Channel is on Auto, the 5Ghz is on 36 (but greyed out and not changeable
