RBS350 Satellite loses connection to router
In our two story home, I have a RBR350 router downstairs and a RBS350 Satellite upstairs. Upstairs I have a Playstation 5 connected to the router via a LAN cable. While I know I could connect the...

If this message appears on the PS5, that seems to be an indication that the RBS350 satellite has rebooted and the (2) Ethernet ports on the satellite are not active. When the satellite finishes booting up, the Ethernet connection to the PS5 are active again. As you are obviously aware, this is not supposed to happen.
It might be worth taking a few minutes to ensure that the electrical connection for the satellite is secure. i.e. there is nothing that can "wiggle loose". Probably also a good idea to use a small UPS to power the satellite. (I have ALL my networking equipment powered by UPS devices, "just in case")
Does anything appear in the Orbi Log file when this happens?
p.s. Yes. Connecting the PS5 with Ethernet is typically FAR superior for gaming than a WiFi connection. The Orbi 350 system uses the same 5G WiFi channel for (a) connecting user devices and (b) communication between the router and satellite (on the Forum, we call this "backhaul"). Since WiFi is "only one device can transmit at a time", connecting to the satellite via WiFi means that every transmission has to make "two hops" to get to/from the downstairs router. Also, WiFi is inherently "half-duplex" whereas Ethernet is "full-duplex".
Networking problems that are erratic are difficult to troubleshoot. (It is SO much easier when a problem can be replicated at will rather than waiting hours (or weeks) for it to happen again.)
