RBS750 Firmware Won't Upgrade
Hello. I picked up an additional Orbi satellite second hand, an RBS750 to go with my RBR750 and an existing satellite. Needed to extend coverage in the house. The satellite is stuck on firmware V...

Firmware would have been built by Netgear, but distributed by the ISP. The GPL says
RBK752-1STSQ
For Firmware Version 4.6.5.93
RBK752-1STSQS / RBR750-1STSQS / RBS750-1STSQS
For Firmware Version 4.6.14.92, 4.6.14.93
So maybe to 4.6.5.93 (which also appears to be custom firmware).
nrmpflash might let you install main-branch firmware (Assuming the 1STSQ hardware is the same as other RBK750s, which seems likely).

Sigh, the Orbi app won’t let me connect to the router now, says that I’m connected to some other router or access point. Checked for solutions online, turned off Limit IP address tracking etc - still nothing. Tried connecting to the router via a LAN cable, and Chrome says that the destination “refused” a connection. What gives now?!

Did you try power-cycling the router?

I did, unplugged the router, unplugged both satellites. Plugged router back in after 2 minutes, connected to it via LAN and tried connecting to it based on the Router IP that showed up - still refused a connection. Neither would orbilogin.com or orbilogin.net open. Getting really frustrated. :(

Probably the paper-clip reset is the next step.
