RBS750 Speed Issue
Hey all,
I have an RBK753 system and all works well, usually. I have the sattelites hard wired and connected to my 1Gb fiber internet. Speed via my wired Apple TV is usually around 900/900 or so. One thing I have noticed is about once a week the speed on 1 sattelite goes down to 100mb speeds until I restart it. Firmware is V3.2.17.12_1.4.14
- Hardware Version: RBS750
- Firmware Version: V3.2.17.12_1.4.14

Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last FW update?
What happens if you swap RBS locations with each other?
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR and RBS to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected. What channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and any unused channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?- ThaladorApprentice
I have not done a reset. I don't feel at this point it should need to be done. If I update firmware on 3 items they should work. I get that it may be required, but it seems like a very generic suggestion.
House is 2777 sq ft. Sattelites are about 30-35ft away from router. I can try changing the channels on 2.4 but the devices connecting and showing slow speeds are 5ghz.
A reset should be performed as well...
Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and channel 40-44 on 5Ghz.
