RBS760 dropped RBR760 Satellite from network, and satellite will not reconnect
I have the triband RBR760 system with 2 RBS760 Satellites running my network. Recently (in the past 3 or so days I think, but not totally sure) one of the satellites dropped from the network. Not "normal", but it happens. Usually reconnects quickly, at worst with a manual reboot.
This time, it's not reconnecting. I got the flashing DC Power light, indicating bad firmware, and proceeded to do a manual update via TFTP. After this, it reconnected/began re-establishing connecting (blue light ring) for a short amount of time, then reverted to magenta light with flashing white light ring.
I have tried moving the satellite closer to the base station, I've tried rebooting it manually, resetting it manually, reconnecting it via phone App, and via the orbilogin page. Nothing has been successful. The satellite remains with the flashing white light/magenta ring/flashing white light/magenta ring cycle endlessly.
I'm at a complete loss of what to do to fix this. Has anyone faced this? any suggestions on what I can do about this? The system is approximately 1 year old or so.
System:
Hardware Model Version: RBR760 w/ 2 RBS 760 Satellites
Firmware 6.3.8.5_1.4.80

What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?What is the distance between the router and 📡 satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR📡 and RBS🛰️ to begin with depending upon building materials when wired or wirelessly connected.

Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last FW update? A complete pull of the power adapters for a period of time after the factory reset then walk thru the setup wizard and setup from scratch with a wired PC and web browser. https://kb.netgear.com/22697/How-do-I-install-my-NETGEAR-router-using-the-router-web-interface
Recommend setting the default DHCP IP address pool range to the following after applying and a factory reset: 192.168.#.100 to 192.168.#.200.

I would power OFF the ISP modem for 1 minute. Factory reset the router and power it off. Power ON the ISP modem and let it sync. Then power ON the router and walk thru the setup wizard again using a wired PC and a web browser.
Press the back reset button for 15 seconds then release.

Or use the ERASE button on the routers web page to factory reset the router:

Thank you for the very detailed and helpful suggest!
So, in doing first a system reboot (go back to the old "turn it off and back on again" basic step), I was able to get the satellite to reconnect properly.
However, I have now uncovered a potentially new issue....
When I logged into the system, and clicked the reboot button the system actually did a reset. When the router came back online, it automatically had be through the system setup process, setup a new admin password, etc. Not sure why that is, but I may have uncovered a new glitch that could be problematic!
Thank you again!
