Concrete thru two walls will be problematic for any MESH system over wireless. All the concrete and steel will inhibit good wifi signal travel and coverage and performance.
I recommend trying to get the RBS ethernet connected to the RBR. Either direct ethernet cable or try either MOCA or PowerLine adapters in between the RBR and RBS.
- ZeeSKJul 20, 2025AspirantThanks FURRYe38, As mentioned in my original post however, my satellite always connects to the router with a solid blue color, indicating no issues with the connection. I have never had any connection issues with the wireless backhaul itself (satellite disconnecting, etc.) Additionally, the setup works perfectly for about 10 days after a fresh reset with the same positions described. Even if this was an issue due to distance/ concrete walls, why is the speed dropping to almost exactly half? my speedtests consistently score around 450 Mbps up and down when connected to the satellite. I believe something in my settings may be impacting the satellite performance. - FURRYe38Jul 20, 2025Guru - Experienced UserConcrete thru two walls will be problematic for any MESH system over wireless.
