Re: Firmware 7.2.6.31 Issues – Connection Drops & Speed Problems

I have the same issues all of a sudden on my 960 series Mesh setup that has been working great for 3 years. This network is way to expensive to have flaws like this.

Apparantly as mentioned above this is a common issue with the 7.2.6.31 Firnware Update, but what I don’t understand is why Netgear is not held accountable and trying to fix the issue.

I see people post about this issue a year ago, but still Netgear has not been able to come up with a better/newer Firmware Update to solve this issue.

Our house consist of a ton of stuff that needs a functioning internett (60 Phillips Hue lamps, 20 Hue Switches/Modules, fireplace, garagedoor, all (4) entrance door with Yale Doorman, TV’s, kitchen appliances, babycams, stereos, laptops, apple TVs, cellphones, lawnmower, vacuumcleaner, ventilation systems, cameraes etc etc..)

Does anyone known if Netgear is close to a solution om this matter before downgrading to previous firmware (alot of work).

Bought a much cheaper (less than 10% per node compared to Orbi 9 series) TP Link setup for parents in law and it works perfectly.
