LINE App Cannot Send or Receive Messages When Connected to RBR750 WiFi

- 10.0.0.0 to 10.255.255.255
- 172.16.0.0 to 172.31.255.255
- 192.168.0.0 to 192.168.255.255.
Have you tried connecting a PC to one of the gateway (modem) ethernet ports, and see if you can access LINE w/o using the RBR750?

Thank you for the information.
The RBR is currently using custom DNS settings, configured as follows:
8.8.8.8
1.1.1.1
168.95.1.1 (this one is a public DNS provided by the local ISP)
The ISP modem does have an indicator light for WiFi, but it seems that the ISP has already disabled the WiFi function.
Based on the setup, it appears that my network is already configured according to Option 2.
The ISP modem is connected to two devices:
MOD
RBR750
However, I cannot log in to the ISP modem or MOD to check their configurations.
The RBR750 obtains its IP address directly from the ISP modem,
so this setup should match the Option 2 configuration you described.
These hardware connections have remained unchanged for more than six months.
If there are any further tests or settings you would recommend trying, please feel free to let me know.

Hi,
MOD is a paid video streaming device provided by the local ISP, similar to Apple TV.
The device connects directly to the upstream modem and automatically links to the network to provide streaming services. After investigation, we found that the issue was related to the RBR750’s internet connection settings.
StephenB suggested checking the IP address currently used by the RBR750.
The device was obtaining an internal IP (192.168.1.X) from the upstream modem, and the connection type did not require login credentials.
Therefore, the RBR750 was accessing the internet through the upstream modem, but it seems the port used by the LINE app was being blocked. It’s suspected that the RBR750 might have rebooted or changed its internet connection mode a few days ago.
When switching back to the “login required” mode, the PPPoE username and password fields were already filled in correctly, which was quite strange. After reapplying the settings and rebooting the RBR750, the issue was immediately resolved.
It turned out to be a simple mix-up.
Many thanks to everyone who provided information and assistance — really appreciate it!- FURRYe38Oct 28, 2025Guru - Experienced User
Glad you got it working. Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.
