Re: RBR50: WAN limited to 100M/Full.
It seems that the ethernet ports are not well made. My last Orbi got recycled when the ethernet ports died after 10 years so fair enough, it owed me nothing at that point. This one has been 6 months and the ports are dying. Tried everything. Tested cable, changed cables, tested ISP speeds, switched out my switch, updated firmware, switched ports on the switch, rebooted router and so on. Sometimes something will work for a few days before it goes back to 100Mbps but nothing lasts and the things that used to work no longer work so it seems that the ethernet ports on these devices are cheap and don't last. I am waiting for a call back from L2 but I'm most likely gonna put my RBR850 into AP mode as the wireless is great. I'll try to get a year out of it then go buy some Enterprise hardware that is made to last.

There is another method to confirm whether the in-wall cable (and associated jacks on each end, etc.) is causing the connection to auto-negotiate to 100Mbps. I purchased a 100ft. Cat6 cable from Amazon for under $20. I rather enjoy** stringing this cable through the house from one end to the other (up the stairs, etc.). If the RBR50 runs at full speed using the temporary cable, then the problem is definitely with the in-wall link.
**The rest of my family does not find this as entertaining, so once the experiment is complete I roll it back up again.
