RBS750 Oreedoo - Unable to Update Firmware
I am writing to request urgent assistance with updating the firmware on 2 Netgear satellite units (Model: RBS750). I acquired these satellites during my stay in Qatar and while subscribed to Ooredoo....
Thanks for the tip, tried both TFTP and nmrpflash based on your recommendations, and got the same negative results on both. Clearly there's something missing.
(Damn. I have have a 'comfort zone', this certainly is not it.)
Perhaps a silly question. When the computer running TFTP/nmrpflash and the RBS750 satellite are connected with an Ethernet cable with the computer set to a static IP address in 192.168.1.x, it the RBS750 is powered on and let sit for 5 minutes or so:
- Does it respond to ICMP (ping) from the computer at 192.168.1.250?
- Is a web browser on the computer able to open a web interface on the satellite at 192.168.1.250?
