The VPN might be the real problem here.
Do you see this if you make a zoom call when not logged into the VPN???

Great city - I had a chance to visit it some years ago, and wished I had more time to explore it.
The VPN might be the real problem here.
Back to this - I had a similar issue some years ago - our corporate VPN infrastructure just didn't provide enough bandwidth. I didn't have to use the VPN for work video conferencing, but it was annoying because I couldn't access corporate documents while on work video calls, since those were only available when I was on the VPN.
Very likely to be the VPN here too, and if that is the situation you'll need to work with your employer to solve it.
My IT team is going to see if they can allow split tunneling for Zoom on the corporate VPN. In the meantime I've learned to live with the lag... at least it works :)
Hi StephenB, I logged in to Zoom outside of the corporate VPN and it didn't lag, it worked fine. Many thanks for your advice.
