Satellite doesn't connect behind L2 dumb switch . RBK753S.(RBR750 + 2 x RBS750)
RBK753S. (AX4200) (RBR750 router) (2 x RBS750 Satellites)
Firmware v 4.6.5.14_2.0.54
I have the following setup:
ISP ethernet handoff <--> RBR750 <--> Cisco Cat 3750 L2 switch <--> Sat1 (RBS750)
This above connection works, with ethernet backhaul.
But the following does not work, and RBS750 becomes unavailable (no wired backhaul or connection over wifi):
ISP ethernet handoff <--> RBR750 <--> Cisco Cat 3750 L2 switch <--> dumb L2 gig switch <--> Sat2 (RBS750)
Moving Sat2 to hang straight off the Cisco switch to a separate port works fine.
Why is this? I expected to have issues using the Cisco with Spanning Tree and/or BPDUs. I didn't expect a dumb L2 switch to have issues.
More signigicantly, it's more likely that users will have a dumb L2 switch.

What is the brand and model of this "dumb switch"?
If the RBS works with out this particular switch in between, I would presume it would be the switch causing problems.
What CAT cable is being used? CAT6 is recommended.
NG GS-105/108v4 and GS308v3, D-Link DGS-105/108 and HP ProCurve 1400/1800 series "non-managed" switches work for Orbi systems.

Oh my bad, I had the info, but didn't include it.
Dumb switch is a D-Link DGS-1024D
All runs in the house are Cat5E, certified runs. I have the certification sheet for each/every run.
All patch cables pass Cat6A certification.
I see this particular switch has Green Ethernet features.
I'd look to see if these can be disabled:
https://us.dlink.com/en/products/dgs-1024d-24-port-gigabit-unmanaged-desktop-switch
- 3-pin front panel DIP switch for real-time toggling Energy-efficient Ethernet (EEE), Flow Control, Port Isolation, and Storm Control
You might try this DIP switch to see if it does anything. Disable these features. Maybe the Flow Control or Strom Control maybe doing something.
I would remove the CISCO switch and just play around with this switch in between until you get it working between the RBR and RBS. Then if you can get the RBS working, then re-introduce the CISCO switch to the mix.
