Satellites showing as RBS750QV and "update failed"
I also had this issue (satellites showing as RBS750QV and "update failed").
My router and satellites were at V7.2.8.2 showing "no new firmware available" but I noted that my satellites were attempting to update (periodically
restarting). And while the router and satellites were all working, I'm not the type to leave well enough alone (sometimes to my own detriment) so, I manually updated my router (RBR750) to V.7.2.8.5 which worked without issue.
I then did one satellite using the firmware for RBS750. That also worked and it now shows as a "RBS750" at V.7.2.8.5.
However, I attempted to do the same (manual update) for my 2nd satellite and it failed (but the satellite is still working).
I power cycled that satellite and tried again. The update worked and now, both satellites show as RBS750 and everything is at V7.2.8.5.

Glad you got it working. Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.
