"Self-assigned IP" on MacOS Sequoia when trying to connect via Ethernet
I'm trying to connect my MacBook Pro running MacOS Sequoia 15.7.2 via ethernet to my Orbi Satellite. I get the status "Self-assigned IP" in the Network tab in System Settings under the Ethernet Port'...
On the MacBook, when using the 1Gbps ports on the Satellite, ethernet works, but when using the 2.5Gbps port on the satellite, Ethernet does not work.
Does your MacBook ethernet adapter support 2.5 gbps? If not, you might as well just use the 1 gpbs port.
