1. When I connect the RBR750 to the firewall, do I use the Internet port on the ORBI or one of the LAN ports? I guess this would be AP mode rather than Router mode?
AP mode would be best.
The manual says to connect the internet port.
Once I pair the RBS350 with the RBR750, is there any management done on the 350? or is everything done on the 750?
Everything is normally done on the 750. You can browse to the 350, but that mostly gives you status.
On SonicWave APs, you can broadcast different SSIDs that are connected to different VLANs on the same physical port on the SonicWall. Is this possible on the setup I have
AFAIK, there is no way to connect a VLAN to a SSID on the Orbi wifi network. Perhaps plemans , CrimpOn , or FURRYe38 can confirm.
