I have a verizon modem that gives 1GB up and down. When I wire into it I can confirm the speeds. When my RBR850 is connected to it, I only get 100MB up and down. Not sure why any advice? NOTE: On...

The Firmware is: V7.2.7.15_5.1.16
The Modem is a Verizon CR1000A with Firmware 3.6.0.2_BD
The ONT is from Verizon. I can't find a model number on it. If it's helpful I can provide a serial number.
I have the 1GB fiber plan from Verizon. The setup is Street -> ONT -> Verizon Modem -> RBR8750
When I plug into the Modem or use the WiFi from it I get 800MB+ up/down speeds. Using the same cable, plugged into the 'Internet 2.5G/1G' port on the RBR850. I get 100MB up and down when plugged, on WIFI, and from the RBR850 speed test itself. Therefore I don't think its my cable, which is a CAT.6A.

What connection rate speed is seen on the RBRs web page ui on the Advanced tab and select Show Stats button for the WAN port? Should see 1000Mbps here.
So the CR1000A is a router, not a modem: https://www.verizon.com/support/verizon-router-cr1000a/
Your ISP Modem already has a built in router and wifi. This would be a double NAT (two router) condition which isn't recommended. https://kb.netgear.com/30186/What-is-Double-NAT

Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the Orbi router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.
3. Or disable all wifi radios on the modem and connect the Orbi router to the modem, configure AP mode on the Orbi router.

Give #2 a try.
Something else to ask the ISP about, ask them if you can remove the CR1000A router and replace it with the Orbi RBR router.
