There was a set of orbis that had a rbs350 with them. there's also the RBS760. I'd be curious to ensure you had the correct model for the update. While you're logged into it, check the version you're on and post it here.
Also, what firmware version is the router on?

Hello all, thanks for responding. The RBR and RBS750 is the correct model. I received an email from Netgear notifying of the need for an update: "Our records indicate that your Orbi AX4200 WiFi 6 High-Performance Router(RBR750) has an older firmware version installed that might prevent your device from auto-updating." And yes, I did make the seemingly fatal error of updating the router first. I'm attaching a pic of the router info. The "solid white" mentioned above was from another help page.
