It appears that Plume is a mesh WiFi system, similar to the Netgear 852 that you currently own.

    https://www.plume.com/platform/home

It would be really useful to see the document that the ISP provided in regard to TV service.

How do you watch television now?

I have a neighbor with a tivo running off his Orbi 773 so some more details might help.

    what tivo's are they installing?

What modem/gateway is the orbi connected to?

Have you tried a different dns provider?

    Who's your ISP?

Tivo no longer provides any hardware devices, although devices that customers already have continue to function.  (I have one myself.)

While Tivo has unloaded their DVR and 4K Stream hardware, those devices are still available from resellers, such as Amazon.

My suspicion is that this cable company is changing the way they provide cable television and that at the same time they have joined the Plume infrastructure package.

That's why we both want to know which cable company this is.
