Unable to change 5G channel

I have RBK853 with latest firmware.

 

I am unable to change 5G channel.  It lists 30, 40, 44 and 48.  Default is 48, changed to 44, click Save, after a while the web UI has 44 selected (even if I refresh the page), but if I use the Orbi App, it shows current channel is still 48

 

How to change to 44?  Because Orbi App suggests 44

    I believe you will find that the Orbi offers channel 36 (not channel 30)

    I cannot find a way for the Orbi 'app' to set the WiFi channel.  The Orbi web interface provides a drop down menu where the user can select which channel to use.  on my Orbi, it looks like this:

    Just personally, I would rather trust an independent tool to verify exactly which channel the Orbi is using.

    On Android, there are numerous "WiFi Analyzer" apps which will display every WiFi access point, along with which channel they are using.

    For Windows, the free WiFi Info View program does the same thing:
